How to Change Address in Driving License?
Friends, as you may be aware, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highway issued an advisory on 28 February 2019 regarding NOC i.e. No Objection Certificate. In which he told that NOC will not be required to change the driving license from one state to another. Whereas before this, NOC was required to get the address of another state, improve or change the driving license made in our own state. But now it is not. But yes, to change the address in the Driving License, an Address Proof will definitely be used, along with that your old DL should also be there. So let's know how to change the address in the driving license.
First, select your state, then click on Apply Online then tap on the Service On Driving License from it.
Let's proceed by clicking on the Continue button.
Here fill the details of old driving license number, date of birth, state, RTO, etc. carefully and tap on the Proceed button.
Now you have to fill all the boxes to verify your Permanent Address. If this option does not show, then go ahead and then tap on the Proceed button.
Now a list of what you want to change/change in the driving license will open. But we have to change the address so select Change of Address In DL and click on the Proceed button.
Fill in the address you want to change in the new DL. And by ticking both the boxes on the side, enter Captcha Code and click on Submit Button.
On the second page, you will find Application No, print it, and keep it close. Then click on the Next Button.
Now here you have to upload a Xerox Copy of Old DL and Address Proof. After that, the online Fee has to be submitted. Now further
After getting the application No, go down and check the Upload Documents and click on the Proceed button. Click Choose File and upload the document and tap on Next Button.
After this, your last step is Fee Payment, select it and select one of the Payment Gateway and pay.
